Finally got the parts to fix my Ioptron Skytracker.
Taken 30 Oct with Canon6D from a park in Turramurra.
Samyang 135mm. 34x 10sec subs (hmm tracker still not working properly, so short subs). Severely processed - to remove twilight gradients and mucho stretching etc.
And added Canon nifty50. 41x 10sec subs.

After deep space, I've found this short exposure comet lark when near the Sun difficult. I'm practicing for the supposed next big one C/2024 G3. All good fun!
Hi Chris, you photos are nice. Could you see the comet with the naked eye or binoculars?
I tried from the Inner West a few times and failed, just too much light pollution. Don't have a decent camera either. I have pretty much given up from where I live.

Fred. Couldn't see by naked eye. I could see with binoculars when it was approaching the Sun but haven't taken them with me since (and there is way less light pollution towards east at my spot).
