HEQ5 Pro + More!
Think it's time to sell my trusty HEQ5 Pro.
This has been my workhorse for a number of years and has produced fantastic results. I am the second owner and have added a number of upgrades.
- Rowan belt mod installed (RRP $339)
- High quality bearings installed (RRP $150)
- ADM dual saddle upgrade (this would cost $320 to buy and ship from overseas)
- Skywatcher tripod extension (RRP $169)
Over the years it has been stripped down, cleaned and regreased twice.
Counterweights have some wear to them. The dec locking clutch snapped in half a few years ago so I replaced it with a 3D printed one.

If interested I can also sell the adapter plate and custom made telescope pier if you want a permanent setup for an extra $400. The custom made telescope pier is heavy. Both the top and bottom plates are slightly warped due to the weld but they havn't given me any issues since I have had it for 3 years.
