Clestial event calendars, apps or websites for the southern sky?

Where can I find an astronomy app or calendar that informs me of southern celestial events? Its weirdly hard to find a good source for this kind of thing.

Would be happy with a static calendar file I can add to google cal but an app would also be good if it notifies you of less predictable phenomena like aurora.

G'day Terranaut and welcome to Ice In Space!

Not a website or app, but I highly regard Astronomy Australia yearbook magazine. They are published yearly and always have great information about upcoming southern hemisphere astronomical events.

The app I use is Sky Safari Pro. You have to pay for it but money well spent! Once you input your location you can check their excellent star maps to see what's interesting that night. All the best
