Quark chromosphere

Happy New Year everyone

My next step in our awesome (but expensively frustrating ) hobby is H-alpha Solar.

In my research of the wise and knowledgeable members here and abroad, narrowed down to a Quark Chromosphere. Hopefully find a good one ... apparently not all QC pass.

If you have one for sale, let me know with price and perhaps a pic to indicate functionality.

Cheers,
Mik

I've one currently I'm thinking of moving on, but have been too lazy to do so.

It's actually the Nikon camera lens version and comes with a classic 300mm ED lens, electric focussing ring and a sol finder. Gives nice full disk views visually - just need to add a diagonal and an eyepiece.

It comes with a 2" focuser adaptor too if you prefer the added reach of a refractor.

I've used it visually mainly but it seems to perform well photographically. My camera displays some banding, so solar flats may be needed, but it certainly does the job at a fraction of the cost of other options!

I'll PM you a price.
