M17 Swan Nebula

Howdy all,

I hope you are all doing well.

Please take a look at my version of M17 Swan Nebula and surrounds, which I captured a while ago. Had to wait for my new PC to be built and installed before I processed.

As usual, details are with the image and you can use the size buttons at the bottom for a zoomed in look.

Cheers and clears,

Gray.

A very nice pink Swan

What's the new PC? I still use my Intel dual core, built for me by Sir Hough in 2008 and running Windows Vista Home Premium and PSCS3+ for most of my processing

It is nothing special, really.

I've been away on a motorbike trip and then had to wait for my son to get me the bits.

I had been using my old AMD 8 core, 16Gb RAM machine which has been totally awesome but is starting to show its age. Built in 2012.

I upgraded to an AMD Ryzen 5 7600, 64Gb Ram with my old video card, a GTX960, and bits from the old machine.

Runs very nice and rips through PixInsight operations very well.
