Lagoon and Trifid

It's been ages since I posted an image.

I actually have a large number of sets of data I have accumulated over the last 8 months or so.

This one was actually taken last Monday night.

It's first light for an iOptron CEM70G which worked fairly well. I still have to get the PEC recorded and loaded for it. It's no AP or Software Bisque but it's nice and light and quite accurate and relatively easy to use.

Taken at my dark site which was cold and a bit windy. I only managed minimal exposure time and it's a testament to the efficiency the reducer makes to getting a decent image. Got everything going after setbacks and I was determined to get something.

Ha RGB 25 10 10 15 minutes each exposure as 5 minutes. AP130GT wih Quad corrector at F4.5.

Hehe. Yes AP scopes are the jam. (I think that's how you use that slang!).

Thanks Peter. I was happy to get anything after losing the battle to get past a few software issues and lost nearly 3 nights of really pristine skies.

Greg.
