Askar 65PHQ with accessories.

Hey everyone.

Basically, I'm looking to buy either a Redcat 51 or the new Askar SQA55 (basically, a 55mm version of the redcat 51), but going to a ~250mm focal length.

So what I have for sale is:

- Askar 65PHQ 65mm f/6.4 (416mm f/l) Quintuplet. with rings and dovetail ($1399 new)
- Askar 0.75x reducer (gives f/4.8 ~ 312mm f/l) ($399 new)
- Prima Luce Lab rings and 20mm risers ($330 new)
- Custom 3D Printed 3rd axis counterweight to help balance the scope once a ZWO EAF is fitted.
- Custom made Exfso flat box made to fit the scope.

Happy to do either a sale of the lot for $1300, or a swap for a Redcat 51 and $300 (being that I can buy a redcat brand new at Testar for $1199)

Located in North Brisbane.
Can arrange shipping at buyers expense.

Images taken with the scope can be seen on my Astrobin account.

Images both with and without the reducer are there, and none of them are cropped any further than stacking artefacts from dithering.

With and without the reducer, I've found the image quality to be sensationally good, with stars right at the edges of frame being perfectly round and sharp.

With the IMX294 4/3" sensor, I've not found the need to shoot flats, I see next to 0 benefit from doing so in most situations, but running it with an APS-C or larger sensor would likely be a different story.
