Lucky Find

Out in the backyard last night (1900-2130hrs) and put the 'scope under the mango tree to shield from the street light. Set up and tried a 'sweep' of the Coma Berenices region. Accidentally stood on the base plate I use for the dew on the grass. When I had a squiz in the ep, I saw a faint blur; put in the 10mm and up comes NGC 4565, bang in the centre. Checked out 5 galaxies in the region, two in the same view from the 25 mm. Still trying to work out which two, though. Then switched to the M 6, M7 region.........Stunning.
Easy to see how captivating this astronomy thingo is
