Sony A7RV no longer has star eater or concentric cirles/polygons
Finally Sony has made their cameras nightscape/astro friendly.
It's been confirmed over on Cloudynights that the newish A7RV no longer has the star eater noise filter nor concentric circles or polygons from baked in lesn corrections that can't be turned off.
Good news, especially as Sony has the best lens selections.
The bad news is that it's a very expensive camera.

Sony cameras and lenses are expensive from what I've seen, I guess like everything you get what you pay for but I've stuck with Nikon because I had a selection of expensive lenses I'd already purchased for my old Nikon 35mm cameras which went straight on without further expenditure. Though it does appear Sony make an amazing camera.
I seemed to have more money to play with before I was retired forcibly due to bad health over 30 years ago.
