SBIG ST8300M + FW5-8300 + Baader LRGB filters
Well, it turns out that around other commitments, weather issues, Mono imaging isn't making me very happy...
I've been trying to piece together an LRGB image now for a couple of months, im still without blue data, and the delayed gratification is just a little too delayed for my liking, and I'm making pretty pictures to make myself smile, so the extra resolution of a mono camera over an OSC is not overly important to me.
I've bought an OSC camera, it should be here in a week (though, given the time of year, probably 2 weeks)
So I figured I'd list this baby up for someone who wants to put in the effort of working with mono, or indeed, replace the LRGB filter set for a narrowband set.
Yes, its old, but its been used a total of 13 nights.
What's included:
SBIG ST8300M camera.
- USB lead.
- 12v 3A mains power adapter.
- Baader 2" nose piece.
- Pelecan Case
- CD for the CCDSoft V5 with serial key.
- Original purchase reciept from ATS.
SBIG FW5-8300 5 position 36mm filter wheel
- In original box
Baader LRGB filterset
- In their plastic boxes, and original cardboard boxes.
I will include a USB stick with the required drivers to run the camera in NINA/Sharpcap/SGP using the native SBIG drivers rather than the home made ASCOM driver that is floating around online.
Chasing $700 shipped anywhere in Australia.
Filters will be removed from the CFW for transport, however, the instructions clearly explain how to refit them all.
Pics to come later today.
