Sunspot 960

Despite a moderate wind blowing on and off, this didnt come off too badly. Taken afocally on tripod using an Olympus 410 compact digital and Meade series 4000 No. 12 filter (orange). This system is really shaping up to look great when face on! I love public holidays (Monday off), maybe some more pics tomorrow.

Great capture Wade - it looks like quite a large group. We’ve got a week of clouds and rain forecast for Brisbane, so we may miss it, although right now I would be very happy if it rained hard for days on end.

Cheers

Wispy cloud cover down here in Brissie - I'll have to rely on Wade for images on how this group develops!

Cheers
