GSO RC Collimation to image train decoupler

Hello all.

This is a new follow on thread from this thread here

I'm creating this for anyone who has a GSO (or other brand of the same scope) RC, that has the primary mirror collimation attached to the image train, and who would like them separated. I will be offering an adapter to do this job. Adapters will mostly be very similar, except for different sizes. However, custom options are welcomed if you want something a little different.

I am currently working on one, with interest for more. I will post all the results here for others to see and get an idea of what it involves. If you have an interest in getting this modification done to your scope, post your thought in this thread.

Once I have all the specifications for the scope sizes worked out, I plan to make it a user install feature.

interested to see how this is done. right now, I do not seem to have an problems with my RC8. I havent put it through it’s paces though.

Hi Gents,

Mikes rear cell has been sent back to him, I have attached some photos from along the way.
I am currently working on 2 others, one having a tilt attachment built in (Mike opted to not have the tilt version as he has a separate tilt adapter).
