The Sculptor Galaxy is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation Sculptor. The Sculptor Galaxy is a starburst galaxy, which means that it is currently undergoing a period of intense star formation.

Radius: 45,000 light years

Apparent mass: ~100 billion M☉

Magnitude: 8

Distance to Earth: 11.42 million light years

Absolute magnitude: -21.99

Declination: −25° 17′ 18″

7hrs data captured over two nights 25 and 26/9/2023, stacked and processed In SIRIL as well as some post stacking processing in PS:

GSO 10" Truss RC, QHY268C OSC camera, Losmandy G11 mount.
