Takahashi FSQ106EDXIII

To cut to the chase, I dropped a small hex key onto the objective which
put a small scratch on the AR coating.

My OCD nature is such that, while I know this does not affect the images
one iota, it bugs me every time I use this gold standard wide field scope that
has produced a number of award winning images.

Takahashi are not taking orders for any FSQ's at present, hence if this 'scope was in mint condition, the asking price would not be cheap.
The EDXIII and EDXIV are optically identical, Takahashi have only rejigged the rotator location in the IV.

Due my ham-fisted blunder I'm asking a little over 1/2 the replacement cost $7100 inc the Pimialucelab rings ($400 on their own
so if you don't need rings I'm happy to drop the price to $6700.00)

The scope was recently serviced and collimated on Testar's double pass autocollimator and the optics are perfectly aligned.

Otherwise the OTA is very clean and has been well cared for. Apart from that one blemish, the optics and
coatings are perfect, absolutely no fungus sleeks or haze. I've highlighted in the attached images the 'scopes
minor wear marks. $12,500 for a (currently unavailable) new one, or $6700.00 for this one? You choose.

Would prefer pick-up if you are in the Sydney area. We can negotiate shipping costs if you live elsewhere.

P.S. The test image matrix was taken with a QHY600M CMOS camera....the edge correction speaks for itself.
P.P.S Price drop as the ring pricing was incorrect.
P.P.P.S Listed the scope on Astromart....now with a slight price drop $A6250.00 (not including rings)
