Wondering what this could be - it was in the very top of my camera when I did a test imaging run tonight - there is nothing on the telescope lens - it is pristine.
Took the camera out (ZWO 1600MM-c) its lens is clear.
Their is a filter wheel in the light path (ZWO - all the holes for mounting seem well covered - and there is little stray light in my astro lab). Several filters need a careful clean - maybe this weekend.
But when I put the camera back on to the filter the obstruction had shifted from the upper top left to the bottom middle third of my gear.
Not the sort of thing I want to action in the dark - wondering how it got there and how it is moving.
I will remove my filterwheel and look to see if there is a hair or cobweb or something, somehow in the light path near the camera.
Anyone seen anything like this - it wasn't at all apparent two days ago!

A further interesting fact - it doesn't seem to be on my Red, Oxygen of Sulphur filters - so I guess that narrows it down to something may have fallen onto my Luminance filter = wow!
Oh yes - it was a hair - my colour too - wonder how that got there 3 months after I set up the filter wheel! Next time I install filters I think I will wear a shower mask!!!
Luminance filter needs a careful clean with isopropyl alcohol - did a first pass but will look at it more carefully on the weekend! Time to renew all my flat files!
Looking much better now - boy this hobby keeps you on your toes!
