How to make dust-proof cover for an Ultra-light?

Hi all, I have a Hubble 16". Currently I keep the entire thing in a box when I'm not using it, which helps keep the dust out, but I wonder if anyone has come up with a decent solution for a close fitting dust cap?

The scope comes with like a board that protects the mirror, but it's open at the sides, allowing dust to float in from the edges, as it tends to do.

I wonder if there is something that will create more of a seal?A shower cap would sag in the middle and contact the mirror, so it would need some rigidity, but also there are the mirror clips to contend with.

Has anyone found a solution for this sort of thing?

A ring/strip of EVA foam - 3mm thick will do it. Also, makes for decent light shield material too if you get the matte black color.

It's really that simple. No need to over think it.
