A Quick M16 Eagle Nebula ( a few weeks ago )

Decided to process some crappy data I captured 2 weeks ago on M16 Eagle Nebula from Sydney

Bortle 8 Skies
New Moon
Sky Conditions : Average to Poor seeing
Telescope: 8” f5 Klaus Helmerich Carbon fibre Newt
Imaging Camera: ZWO2600MC cooled to -10C , Gain 100
TS Optics GPU coma corrector
Filter: Antlia ALPT 5nm Dualband filter
Guide Scope: Orion 60mm with helical focuser
Guide camera: ZWO120MM-S
92 x 2 min dithered subs
20 x Flats
20 x Bias
EQMOD and Stellarium
APT
PHD2 Multistar guiding ( 0.50 to 0.60 arc sec total )
Subs reviewed in ASTAP
Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker
Post processed in Startools v1.8 Dats set loaded via Compose , used OSC Bicolor luminance , Color option
Initial Autostretch was quite noisy but managed to mitigate the gradients and settle on a reduced dynamic range to clean up the image a bit. Included a default SV Decon and applied Superstructure ( brightness)
Color preset was an SHO preset with saturation and bias adjustments

Only a quick process , didn’t want to spend too much time on it and yes should have adjusted colour and increased saturation a bit …..

Astrobin link for improved resolution…..,

Lovely detail Martin and great to see even the background has some nice texture to it. Colour is restrained but pleasing too. Perhaps some RGB stars if you’re game?
