Around the pipebowl

Long time since I've posted any images. Similar to Paul's lovely shot, here is another wideview around the pipebowl. Taken from backyard Sydney. But mine has a nasty bright bits top & bottom. Think it was due to the heater strap around the lens (has shiny thermal insulating tape around it) which slipped down a bit.

72x 2min subs on a modded Canon450D and the nifty-fifty 50mm lens from the weekend after the Matilda's match. Processed in pixinsight.

Very nice Chris. The detail on the cat's paw et. al. is great. Let's call the blue bit artistic flair.

Very nice image Chris - the expansive FOV of the Nifty Fifty produces images that would look great hanging on a wall. Alex
