Rho Ophiuchi

Gday all
First attempt at a four panel mosaic. Used the ASAIR sky atlas. Would take a while to get a good amount of subs, so I thought Id attempt it now as its raining...with approx half hour at 60sec per red, green and blue filter for the four panels.
Did not apply 'L' as I only had a few.

That's a ripper Steve and only a couple of frames each, wow! Love the boldness, nice one. Processing a mono mosaic in PI is a challenge. Well done.

Hi John
Tad of a challenge as it takes a while to stack in PIS. Then work on the four photos after a combination of star alignment, image solver and SPCC. Got confused with mosaic by coordinates and gradient merge mosaic..files all over the show. Need a lot of time on a larger mosaic...

That’s incredible. The colour is amazing but still looks really natural so you’ve found a beautiful balance. Detail and framing is great. Hats off that’s a cracker!!

Hi John Alex Steveo JA Daveo

Im glad you like the pic..Ta Yup the colours are bold but looking at some pics in astrobin for a guide the pics there were watered down so to speak; so I upped the ante...
Not a guru with PIS but Im curious if I did a lot more panels; would you require even less subs... Would require time...
