webcam issue

hi all, i tried to take an image of the moon last night with my optics 130M- this uses the same chip as the Qguide- its a mono CMOS webcam guider-- only problem was i couldnt see any detail on the moon!!- just a white blob!! (yea- i was in focus)- so i stuck in the nexiamge, i got the usually raggy image with noise- but i could see everything, any suggestions what the problem is?- seems the software kinda sucks for it- it alternatively uses AMcap- but the AMcap is slightly 'different' when i open it (no matter which AMcap version i use)-- maybe you dont have this camera- but does anyone with a Qguide have these kind of issues??- john
