Magellanic Galaxy NGC 55
Hi everyone,
while the weather was hanging in I turned my
sights onto something different.
Magellanic Galaxy NGC 55.
Not the best of seeing conditions but gave enough
to provide some positive results.
I now think of it as the Anchovy Galaxy.
Pics below will explain.
GSO RC6 @ f/9.2
ZWO 533MC Pro
Gain 101 -10C
91 x 180secs
ZWO IR/UV filter
Skywatcher AZEQ6
Thanks for looking.
Paul.

Hi Paul,
Yep, official rename paperwork is going in.
The Anchovy Galaxy it is.
Great image, though - I do like a good image of a bright galaxy.
Cheers,
V

Nice one Paul, I see a tadpole at that stage when it's getting it's hind legs with the blobby body and fat tail.
