You can download software from Pegasus to go from 0 to 100% brightness. I just used the button on the side which lets you select 5 different levels.

I meant how low in aperture can you go ie a 130 telescope or 60mm telescope?

I guess you could use it on any smaller aperture - just sit it on top of the scope or make an adapter (foam circle?) to fit between the pins.
