Telescope pier wanted
Does anyone have a telescope pier (steel or aluminium) surplus to their requirements that they would be interested in selling? I'm installing a Sirius 2.3m dome on a raised platform and with a central concrete pillar. The pier would be affixed to the pillar with steel bolts. Ideally, the pier needs to be at least 900m high.
I'd be happy to pick up within a radius of about 300km from Canberra, or pay for shipping if it can be arranged.
