Here's part 1 of my newest project, imaging the Chamaeleon Molecular Clouds, the first panel of a forthcoming mosaic no doubt. In this image I included the Dark Doodad, it gives good reference to the location of the clouds. The image was acquired with a Canon 6Da and 135mm f/2 lens riding on a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer mount. 2hr 12min of exposure time consisting of 66 x 120sec ISO1000.
That looks great! I've imaged the Doodad by itself before, but had no idea there was so much more so close by. Looking forward to seeing how far the dust goes.
