Total exposure for the comet was 24 min. Star field was constructed with the aid of StarXterminator. The starless comet images were aligned on the nucleus and then the image of stars plus image of comet were recombined. There are still some artifacts remaining, but I have spent such a long time fiddling with this image that I decided to call it a day.

Wonderful work done there Geoff. I didn't think the green comet was worth chasing anymore but you've proven that it still produces a spectacular image using the right equipment and processing.
