12 March Another New Prom.

12th March. Another new prominence appeared on the NE limb of the Sun this morning (0 hrs UT) . Situated above the SE prom that has been there for the last few days. The new prom looked much denser and brighter than the previous one, however the new prom has lasted only a few hours (and has now dispersed).
I managed to get an image of the pair of proms and an image of the new prom. Sky conditions were very poor with lots of cloud and wind (I noticed two cloud layers with one layer going in one direction and the other in the opposite direction).
These images are single exposures with a Canon 550d camera attached to a Lunt 100 SS scope at Ha wavelength.
Thanks for viewing, John W.

Nicely done John, great to see your images. All clouds here today so no opportunity to see what was happening.
