Venus and Jupiter, daytime

Some daytime conjunction viewing yesterday after picking the kids up from school. 8" dob, Venus easily located and Jupiter spotted next to it in the finder. I knew then the view through the main EP was going to be pretty good.

Composite (different exposures and processing for each planet) to show visual appearance. Phase of Venus and some bands on Jupiter visible. No moons.

8" f/6 dob, ASI294, Baader MPCC, IR742 pass filter
