Comet near Mars

I was not expecting the comet to be only about 1 degree north-east of Mars tonight. It was also a surprise just to finally see stars after so many cloudy evenings.

This image is though my little skywatcher 62mm Evolux. Unfortunately, there was a haze, which was truly horrendous in some of my attempted images.

This was for 10 seconds with an ISO of 4000.

I also used an 80mm scope to visually see the comet and Mars.

Still a pretty good result and a nice record of the event.
