Full disk sun images 12 January 2023

It took quite some time for the clouds to burn off today, so we only had a short time late this afternoon for imaging the Sun. Another new active region has come in on the SE, AR3188. Plenty of impressive thick filaments on the disk and we caught AR3186 flaring again. Our image was taken at 06:38 UT and the M1.5 flare peaked at 06:46 UT.
