Sun today from Melbourne 7 January 2023

It was a sunny morning but the wind picked up pretty early and quickly from the north. The predicted seeing indexes were not flash. The new active region AR3182 is proving to be one to watch. The northern polar filaprom continues to be impressive. Full disks in Ha and 540nm.
