6th Jan The Sun

6th Jan. A nice clear sky with plenty of blue today.
The first image shows the sunspots - mostly small. A new group AR 3183 has appeared.
The second image is at Ha (656 nm) wavelength and shows the NW sector.
The third image also at 656 nm shows the southern sector of the sun.
All images are single exposures with a Canon 550d.
Notice the "filaprom" in each of the Ha images.
Thanks for viewing.
Cheers John W.
