24 hours of data (partly for the punny title!) on Thor's helmet from the Adelaide 'burbs with a ZWO 294MM and a GSO RC8. 11 hours of OIII and 7 of Ha. Another 6 hours of RGB collected a couple of years ago with a ZWO 1600MM for star colour.
It's been a while since I've been able to get away to a dark site, so resorted to narrowband imaging at home to tide me over
Very nice Paul. So much better in the full res Astrobin version. Lovely detail in the dark areas where the wings join. I wonder if you can reduce the colour fringe on the stars with out hurting them ? A lovely Thor. Well done 👍
An excellent image with superb resolution and fine detail
Colour is spot on too
Well done for effort alone ( you certainly poured some hours into this one which has paid dividends)
Re fringes, Ryan, not sure how best to improve them. I need to do some research. It could be the result of my heavy handed replacement with RGB stars, or could be there in the HOO already.
That's what Ita Buttrose said when the God of Thunder revealed his true identity to her, after they had spent a passionate night together... "sheesh..you think you're thor "
An Excellent Thor there Paul, must be happy with that, well done
