Medibank Hack - even when your not a member

Sweet, while I'm not a member of Medibank health insurance I received an email today informing me that my details have been released on the dark web...

Seems the travel insurance I got with them 4+ years ago was the source of the information.

Me too. They should be culpable for any damages incurred, IMHO. They won't be though.

I got a letter a few days ago saying some of my details may have been released, funny thing is it says I was an AHM member and neither my wife nor I can recall joining them.

Must have been a long time ago.....

Yeah, I was an AHM member more than 10 years ago. Shows how long they keep your data hanging around once they have it.
