Very challenging conditions 15 December

Yesterday the clouds started to break up in the afternoon but still provided very challenging conditions for imaging. The Ha full disk image was actually taken through clouds and is fairly affected by them, but does give a good view of the many prominences around the limb. The filaprom running along the limb in the SE is interesting and by this morning had rotated onto the disk as a filament. After the Ha full disk we gave up with Ha as just being too difficult and took some white light images which were easier to capture during the small gaps in the clouds (no flats needed).
Full disk Ha taken with Solar Scout 60 double stacked with 40mm Lunt etalon, ASI178MM & 0.5x reducer.
Full disk white light taken with 72ED, ASI178MM, 540nm filter.
Close up white light images taken with Kson 102, modified GSO x5 barlow, ASI174MM & 540nm filter.
