Sun from Saturday

Hi all,

thought I would finally give my new AZEQ6 a spin, and also try out the ed72 that came with it too (thanks skywatcher). it was late in the day and conditions weren't good but more of a trial.

Well my qhy163m wouldn't connect which is my usual solar camera - need to investigate what's going on there, perhaps it is dead. plugging the zwo224mc in with the same usb cable worked - but of course its a colour cam.
was a bit unsure with the ed72, attached the quark daystar after the flattener/reducer. but seems to have worked ok.
switched over to the 130mm for some quick close up viewing.

cheers

russ

- Was a good reminder to get a few spare good usb cables for exmouth! just in case!!

It is amazing that you managed to get anything in today's conditions. Is all this new equipment the cause of the weather Nice images Russ.
