Active regions on the Sun 4 December

We took close up images of the active regions AR3153, AR3155 and AR3157 & AR3156. There are some wonderful proms on the eastern limb.

Images taken with K102, Solar Scout Quark, Lunt 40 etalon and ASI174MM.

Great imaging Clare & Peter, this week is going to be great for Solar imaging, weather permitting.

Thanks Martin. You're right, the sun's looking good but Melbourne's weather isn't. Probably nothing for us til later in the week.
