Thanks Alex, you are far too kind. I'm a "first principles" learner generally, get the fundamentals right and the rest will follow, in theory anyway

I'd rather throw away a night or two than try and "fix" it in post.
I might have a Triangulum somewhere. I really need to store/sort my data by target then date rather than the other way around. Your expression/question reminds me of the "Ya'll got an more of them pixels" meme

Thanks Wilsil, what a shame. I can only off the advice I was given: short exp at least give you less overall time culled. I almost always do 30s for this exact reason. Granted stacking can be a bit of a chore, relatively. Also, high(er) gain and short subs get reasonable results in less than perfect conditions, check out my high gain experiments for example, they were done in very poor seeing.
