20th Nov Sun

20th Nov. A cloudy and rainy day again today. Only time for a quick image of the Sun around midday (2.20 UT).
Some new sunspot groups have come into view since my last images. The largest spot is AR 3147. There have been some flares around AR 3150 near the NW limb. There are two small spots to the lower left of AR3150 (can you see them).
Single exposure with Canon 550d, 81 mm WO refractor, herschel wedge at 540 nm.
Thanks for viewing. Cheers John W.

You did well to capture this today John. Nice image!
There were a few small breaks in the clouds here today but it was always threatening and it was extremely windy. We weren't game enough to put the scope out.
