Should I upgrade from a 1.25 inch to a 36mm filter wheel?

I wanted to get some opinions on whether it wouuld be worth upgrading from a 1.25" filter wheel to a 36mm filter wheel?

I have a four-thirds camera (QHY294m) and my 1.25" mounted filters have been working very well. However, I recently upgraded to a fast f3 scope which seems to have pushed the 1.25" filters over the edge.

I have the filter wheel directly mounted to the camera as close as it can get.

I want to start doing more mosiacs and am concerned that uneven corners will make it difficult to get a consistent results as even after correcting with flats some sections of the mosiac will have lower SNR. Is this a legitimate concern?

I've attached two unstreched flats for reference. One is from a 1.25" HA filter. The second is from no filter at all in that slot to simulate what it would look like if I upgraded to 31mm unmounted filters.

With the goal of creating good mosiacs in mind shoud I:

a) Upgrade from 1.25" mounted filter to 31mm filters keeping my current filter wheel?
b) Upgade the filter wheel and filters to 36mm filters?
