Jupiter 12th May (11th UT) - Tassie

This is one of my best images ever....the seeing was not as good as last years april one, but I was very happy to have such low transparency due to fog and still manage to produce a good image.

10" newt, dob driven, lu075m camera

Great image Dave, great to see you hit your straps this year. I'd prefer it a bit smaller, I think the rescaling has added some pixelation/grain that disappears when it's resized even back to 75% of this scale.

But man what a great image! well done!

Wow David – that is a very impressive image of Jupiter! There is a lot of detail visible; a lot going on up there right now.

Great to see you back in the thick of things again, and with such a beauty!
