More ZWO AM5 questions

I just took the plunge and ordered an AM5 mount, due to arrive mid December. As usual, I did most of my pre-purchase research and decision making after placing the order. What could possibly go wrong?

During yesterday's YouTube research, I came across one reviewer who stated that you couldn't use PHD2 and NINA in parallel with the AM5 (whatever that means.) Everybody else seems to have no trouble using these apps with the AM5, so just wondering if there are any gotchas involved.

I don't want to get into the Asiair Plus universe, I like my NUC's and NINA. My intent is to replace the AzEq6 with the AM5 on my secondary pier that gives total NSEW coverage down to <20 degrees elevation, whereas my Obs CEM60 mount (pic 1) struggles to get 30 due to walls.

I will use my existing ADM side by side saddle arrangement (pic 2) with a fixed NUC and guide scope with RC8 or wideband refractors on the other saddle point. Gratuitous pics attached to show saddle offset and weather protection, with more under the tarp.

So, does NINA and PHD2 play nicely with the AM5?
