Saturn & Jupiter last night 4 Nov

A better use of time tonight turns out to be to process last night's data. It also turns out that even with clouds last night it was better seeing than tonight. The Saturn image was captured first and we spent a bit too much time there as we were waiting for the GRS to rotate into view. We then slewed to Jupiter as the clouds arrived. The first image with just Europa was a tighter ROI and then the clouds stopped play. Then somehow Jupiter reappeared in a hole in the cloud and we grabbed the wider ROI to get Io & Europa. Then it was definitely all over red rover.
All captured with our usual 6" SCT setup.

Clare and Peter, Saturn is great, especially getting five moons in the view.

Thanks Steve.
We tried again last night but the seeing was terrible so we gave up and left the planets to the clouds that rolled in anyway. So we were glad to get these images the night before.
