First image with my recently acquired ASI2600mc using the Antlia golden dual nb filter to control my bortle 8 skies. Scope is the wonderful askar fra400.

Congratulations John on your first light with this camera. It looks like you are already getting the hang of it. Detail and processing are very good, especially given your Bortle zone. Some nice colours pulled out of the data too. Stars look great, don’t look clipped in the least, and have natural looking colour. The background however looks a little too purple for my taste. Overall, an excellent first light. Well done.

For a first light it's really good.
Tone down the magenta post process and it'll be a cracker

Great work that’s a lovely image. Nice framing too.

Thanks for the feedback...

I am yet to find my best path to processing images taken with the Antlia NB filter so apologies, the colour balance is a bit odd...was keen to get the details out of the image and post something as I have not done so for a good while and the weather has not been co-operating since I bought this camera! The main thing I am am happy with is that anything of this sort can be captured in the horrid LP of inner west Sydney....
