Due to family commitments, there was an unavoidable delay in the processing department. So here are yesterday's two images taken in very ordinary conditions. High cloud and bad seeing - who could ask for more? But it looked like it was going to be the last opportunity for a bit, so we imaged anyway. We particularly wanted to have another look at AR3112 as it has so many sun spots in a single region and although the seeing really didn't support the aperture of the white light image it is interesting to compare it to the image taken on the 2nd October.
White light image taken with 6" SCT, 1.8x barlow, ASI178MM and 540nm filter.
Full disk Ha image taken with Daystar Solar Scout 60 double stacked with Lunt 40 etalon, ASI178MM camera and 0.5 reducer.
