cool water drop on the lens image

The screen shot is from the Nome, Alaska webcam, with ex Typhoon Merbok passing through the Bering Straits.

The water drop on the webcam made for a good effect I thought.

it's funny you should bring the water droplet up steve as many many years ago i was obsessed by a painting from an artist in melbourne
i used to walk past the said painting every day on the way to work and i always had to stop to look at it
for all the world it looked like he had painted a typical rainy city melbourne streetscape, but, it looked like he had composed it inside of his car through the windshield!
it was an extraordinary piece i shall never forget, however the artist is long gone from my memory

Hi Pat, I like the idea behind the trip to work painting you mentioned. Not being very arty myself I am amazing at what people can create. Was the artwork around for the internet? Melbourne is great for capturing its street artists. Mike Barr is one artist who seems to have run with the rainy Melbourne theme.

Poor old Baring Strait residence got hammered though, immense storm.
