Another clear morning :) 24 July 2022

After a dismal day yesterday we happily woke to sunshine and clear skies which lasted long enough to grab some sun images. It looks like things might be quieting down a little bit as the current active regions reach the western limb and there hasn't been any new arrivals in the east for a couple of days now.

Ha images taken with Daystar Solar Scout 60 double stacked with Lunt 40 etalon, ASI178MM camera and 0.5 reducer.
White light images taken with 72ED, Meade white light filter, ASI178MM and 540nm filter.

Nice set of images P and C. Those sunspots are small but at least there is something to image. Might be a cloudy few days this week. Cheers John W.

Thanks John. Yes, it looks like we're in for an average week weather wise.
