Solar Truss tube Newtonian

This is a 150mm x1200 ex Skywatcher newtonian . it has a de-silvered primary mirror and has been rebuilt as a truss tube newtonian to eliminate

tube currents and minimise wind buffeting. It's a great alternative to a herschel wedge and gives great high resolution images, when the atmospheric

conditions prevail.

You will need to use an ND 3.0 filter with a UR /UVcut with either a #58 green filter , Solar Continuim filter or an OIII filter for the best imaging results.

A 12v motorised focuser is included with this sale. Collimation is done with a standard laser collimator.

If you are in Brisbane I can demonstrate this telescope.

The Images in this post were taken on 16-06-22 with this Telescope.

I am selling this telescope to fund the purchase of a larger telescope for even higher resolution imaging.

Mount and Camera in the pictures are not for sale .

Selling for $300 pick up Brisbane SE Bayside or I can dismantle it and post it for an extra $50
.

DISCLAIMER this telescope must be used with the appropriate safety precautions that are applicable to solar telescopes, I accept no responsibility for misuse.
