Motorised a few of my telescopes with Onstep over our lockdowns.
This is a bintel 8” with dual speed crayford focuser. Great scope with a roller-bearing on the azimuth providing smooth motion. The Goto function works very well with just a 2-star alignment. I just never use it as I have a 16” motorised scope now.
You can control the telescope via your phone which is useful if you have sky safari, but I prefer the wireless hand controller (a recent change to the SHC). I have a video of the scope doing a goto and slew, but it's too large to show here - pm me if interested.
I'll also include 2 eyepieces.
