Quick Carina Core

Quick little 3 hr stab at the core of the best nebula in the sky.

This wickety wack colour scheme came out simply by linearfitting to the Sii master.. no colour adjustments done except saturation after syn lum added.

Also pretty impressed that from a bortle 6, with 'cheap' 7nm filters and 4 min subs, you can just make out a double structure around eta carinae!

Caught on:

Esprit 120
294mm
Opto 7nm filters
4 min subs at unity. 1 hr per channel. SHO combination and a little abuse with topaz denoise.

thanks guys! Choosing Carina as a target really makes your life easy, so much brightness, so easy to get good snr! Especially relevant in this horrendously cloudy summer!

Hopefully it all clears out for Milky Way season!!
