20th April Sunspots

20th April. Some nice sunspot groups on the Sun's NE sector today. Cloud hampered views - I only had a minute window to capture this shot. Another sunspot numbered 2990 on the NW sector could not be seen (probably gone). Single exposure taken with a Canon 550d camera attached to a WO 81 mm refractor and Herschel wedge. Thanks for viewing.

Very nice DSLR capture of this interesting region John. Let's hope there is more to follow.

They are a complex group of sun spots. It will be interesting to see how they develop over the coming days. Great capture given the very narrow window of opportunity Lots of clouds in Melbourne
